The hackathon will focus on health care scheduling, provider availability and access to care. We are bringing together a wide selection of companies and partners from both in and outside of healthcare to provide data, APIs and tools to hack around.

Product Manager, Grand Rounds
JP is Senior Director of Product at Grand Rounds. At Grand Rounds, JP is responsible for data products, data services and the internal tools platform. Prior to Grand Rounds, JP was Vice President of Product Marketing at tenXer, a company that helped improve the way people work by using data and analytics. Prior to tenXer, JP was Director of Strategic Initiatives at Digité and founded a medtech company called AraVasc. JP holds a BS in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology from UCSD and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
Investor, Singularity Holdings VC

 Neil Devani works with early-stage technology companies as an investor, advisor, and counsel. He invests primarily with Singularity Holdings, a venture fund investing in both startups and funds, and also serves as a venture partner at HOF Capital, a venture fund focused on global businesses. He advises multiple young companies, a nonprofit focused on immigration, and Comar LLP, an innovative law firm for startups and venture funds. Prior, he managed the investment committee at Rothenberg Ventures where he focused on investments in healthcare, financial services, and verticalized applications of machine learning and robotics. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Pennsylvania State University, attended Drexel University College of Medicine, and has a JD from Stanford Law School.
‘More Disruption Please’ Labs, athenahealth
Santosh Mohan serves as the Head of the More Disruption Please (MDP) Labs at athenahealth, fostering the next generation of healthcare innovators. He is a Duke Fuqua Scholar in clinical informatics and the recipient of HIMSS 2017 Founders Leadership Award. Prior to his current role at athenahealth, Mohan served as a Digital Solutions Management Fellow at Stanford Health Care and helped the organization achieve EMRAM Stage 7 inpatient and outpatient validations. Earlier in his career, he worked on technology-enabled innovation at Duke University Health System and Cerner Corporation and served as a Senior Consultant and Director at The Advisory Board Company. Mohan holds a master's degree in business management and clinical informatics from Duke Fuqua School of Business and a bachelor's degree in engineering and bioinformatics. He is a member of the HIMSS User Experience Committee and serves on the board of HIMSS Northern California chapter. Mohan was recently recognized as a "Rising Star" by Becker's Hospital Review and as one of 11 leading innovators in health IT by Health Data Management. He is also one of the industry's youngest to carry the Fellow of HIMSS designation.
Dr. Girish Subramanyan is a psychiatrist in private practice in San Francisco specializing in the treatment of adult with mood and anxiety disorders, including treatment-resistant forms of these conditions. He received his medical education at Harvard Medical School and completed his residency in general psychiatry at U.C.S.F. He has been in practice since 2003. He is also involved the digital health technology and has advised startups in this space. Currently, he serves as Chief Clinical Officer for Spring Health, a behavioral health startup in New York City, that utilizes machine-learning derived algorithms to predict response to psychiatric treatments.
Pauliina takes care OF the MArketing and developer community at BetterDoctor. she started her career at a mobile os startup, Jolla, and got swallowed into the world of tech. After that, she did PR and marketing for ICT companies before moving to San Francisco and throwing herself into the us health care system. As a master of social sciences, Pauliina understands abstractness but also gets her way through the code.
Tzuhan Wu is an experienced software engineer who has worked on different layers of web backend development from infrastructure to APIs.
He is currently on the Partnerships team at Yelp where he focuses on building the platform that supports syndication and ingestion of Yelp data and APIs for partners and external developers.
Gillian serves as a Technical Project Manager and Consultant for athenahealth’s More Disruption Please program. She is a detail oriented and results-driven, strategic thinker, with a record of quickly creating and implementing effective technical solutions. Gillian is motivated by a mission of surfacing the right data to providers at the right time, to make healthcare work as it should. Gillian holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Health with a secondary major in Political Science, form the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
